Accessibility statement.
PLAYWEST PTY LTD is committed to digital accessibility and conforms with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA across playwestbets.com. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing obligation, not a one-off target, and is considered in design, development and procurement.
Last assessment: 28 May 2026 · Standard: WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
Accessibility features
- Keyboard navigation for all interactive controls.
- Skip links (“Skip to main content”) at the start of each page.
- Logical heading structure and landmark regions.
- Alt text for meaningful images.
- ARIA labels and roles on custom controls.
- Visible focus indicators.
- Form labels, instructions and error messages exposed to assistive technologies.
- Data tables (including racing fields on the Racing page) use proper row and column headers.
- Time-based content and timeouts: session and time-sensitive wagering operations provide adequate time and clear messaging.
- Motion respects the
prefers-reduced-motionsetting; section reveals fall back to a no-motion presentation. - Pages render correctly at 200% zoom and reflow without horizontal scrolling on standard viewports.
- Colour contrast meets the AA contrast ratio for text and interactive controls.
Bet slip and wagering interactions
The bet slip is an accessible region: selections, stake fields and the place-bet control are keyboard operable, are labelled for assistive technologies, and announce changes to selections and returns. Confirmation and error messages are conveyed in text, not by colour alone.
Assistive technology compatibility
The site is built to work with current versions of common assistive technologies, including screen readers (such as NVDA, JAWS and VoiceOver), screen magnifiers and speech-recognition software, used with current versions of major browsers.
Mobile accessibility
Layouts are responsive and operable on touch devices, with adequate target sizes, support for device zoom and orientation, and compatibility with mobile screen readers.
Documents and alternative formats
Where documents are provided as PDFs, we aim to provide tagged, accessible versions. Customers with disability may request our Terms of service, Privacy Policy, Help content or other key documents in alternative formats — including large print, a screen-reader-friendly version, or simplified language — by contacting accessibility@playwestbets.com.
Third-party content
Some content or components supplied by third parties (such as payment, analytics or verification providers) may not be fully under our control. We work with suppliers to improve accessibility and can provide assistance where third-party content presents a barrier.
Known limitations
Despite ongoing work, some limitations may remain — for example, certain complex data tables, some third-party embedded components, and occasional legacy PDF documents may not yet fully meet Level AA. We are actively remediating these and welcome reports of specific barriers.
